Property is really quiet and reasonable price , cleanliness is ok. Only hardest part is they close reception and it’s too difficult to get staff outside of normal hours for any help for any questions. Rooms could have been little bigger.

The stay was not bad. It was clean and well located. The breakfast experience was terrible. We allocated one full hour for the breakfast before we went to get the flight tour with K2. When we came to the dining room there were about 3 of four families. Within one full hour they were not able to bring us the meal. We ordered simple stuff, nothing fancy from the book menu. At one point we explained them we have to go and we paid for the meal in order to save time. After one hour we had to go, they did not bring any food, no apologies offered. Stefan Nicola

We had a lovely stay at Talkeetna. The room is big enough and the beds comfy and large. The shower is, unusual for Alaska, not fixed at the top so you can take it down which is a plus. The centre is just a 10 minute walk through the forest and the place perfect to explore the surroundings. The owner‘s family who are originally Swiss are lovely.

We had a GREAT time visiting Talkeetna, and this Inn was the perfect place to stay. It was just off of the town center near the Alaska Railroad stop. Our room was lovely in a separate house from the main inn building itself. The family that runs the establishment were wonderful hosts. And our breakfast of Swiss French Toast with Blueberry Syrup was exemplary.
