“De lodge ligt in een prachtige omgeving. De familiekamer was heel groot. De kinderen hadden een aparte slaapkamer. Er stond zelfs een kleine hoekbank in. Het personeel was echt heel klantvriendelijk! Ze gaven ons een tip hoe we op een andere manier (niet door de Gotthart tunnel) naar Italië konden rijden. De bediening in het restaurant was ook heel aardig. Toen we vertrokken kwam er iemand achter ons aan naar buiten. Hij had net de webcam bekeken en vertelde ons ook dat we de andere route……

“Sehr freundlicher Hotelleiter. Einfache, saubere Zimmer mit allem vorhanden, was nötig ist. Hervorragendes Frühstück; dabei ist der Kaffee besonders hervorzuheben. Mittag- oder Nachtessen kann nicht beurteilt werden, da nicht eingenommen. Umgebung in den Bergen hervorragend. Ruhige Lage, trotz Strassenanbindung - wenig Verkehr, guter Schallschutz (Fenster).”

“Super süßes authentisches Hotel ganz nah am Gotthard Tunnel (Nordseite, also bevor man aus Deutschland in den Tunnelgefahren ist). Optimal für einen Zwischenstop auf dem Hinweg, um am nächsten Morgen sehr früh den Tunnel ohne Stau hinter sich zu bringen. Kleines aber sehr leckere Frühstück. Direkt neben den Hotel befindet sich ein 24 Stunden am Tag geöffneter Selbstbedienungs-Laden.”

“Such a cool place, like stepping into another world (Swiss ski chalet). Rustic but also somehow modern, clean and perfectly maintained. Very kind and helpful staff. Best bathroom / shower we've had so far in our trip (full sized shower). This place is like being inside of a post card. Right next to a rushing mountain stream, 360 views of the mountains, walkable to everywhere in town. Would definitely go back.”

“Grundsätzlich sehr einfaches Hotel bzgl. Einrichtung und Komfort. Okay für eine Nacht auf der Durchfahrt, aber mehr nicht. Hätte es nicht die strategische Lage vor dem Gotthard-Tunnel und den üblichen Schweiz-Preisaufschlag würde es wohl anderswo eher die Hälfte kosten. Das Frühstück war gut und erfreulicherweise hört man die Autobahn bei geschlossenen Fenstern nicht. Der Ort um das Hotel ist absolut tot.”

“Our experience was so bad that we stayed only one night instead the two we booked and paid. The photos of the property are absolutely misleading, there is absolutely no view from inside. The surrounding area is nice, just not from right at the house. The beds were absolutely horrible. And to add insult to the injury the host, located directly above the unit we stayed in, walked around and had conversations until after midnight. We could hear every word and it felt as if someone would fall thru……

“Very nice place the only set back is the church across with the bells ringing during the night. Especially if it’s really hot and the windows are open for air. Besides that the hotel and food ( restaurant) is very good”
