Hotel was unique in that its sits into a hillside off by itself. Its a nice stay but a big negative was that the elevator was not working so had to go up 3 flights of stairs with luggage. The hotel staff were all very friendly.

Dover was in the midst of a heatwave and room wasn’t air conditioned. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Great location for the cruise terminal, sightseeing and transportation.

If you are cruising out of Dover Uk I highly recommend this hotel. Near the cruise port and Dover Castle.The restaurant and bar is good as well.

Clean hotel and great location! Across the street are shops and places to eat. You can walk to the castle and the cliffs. The breakfast was good. They have a phone at the front desk to catch a cab.

Very clean and neat. Rooms are excellent, except no A/C, just fans. As we were there when it was warmer, this proved to be the only drawback. Attached restaurant is excellent. Reasonably close to Cruise Terminal. Very good view of white cliffs of Dover. Not to far away from the Dover Castle. If necc, use a taxi. Uber service is poor in Dover.

A bit dated Premier Inn not far from the ferry port of Dover. We had a relatively spacious room with a sea view. Bed was quite comfy, room was warm though as its not possible to open the windows properly. 115€ wasnt cheap though for what was offered.

Overall, great location. The staff was super helpful! The rooms were neat and tidy! Air conditioning I couldn't figure out if it was there or not! But overall a great place to stay by the sea!

The kitchen was closed when we arrived. Later service may be appreciated. Our room also had a very squeaky floor so I pity the people below us. View was beautiful and shower was hot, bed was clean and fresh. Staff were not always at their post at the front desk but we never had to wait long.

The staff is absolutely amazing! They go above and behind to help everyone with kindness and patience. The property isim need of some repairs. All of the lifts were down. The gentlman checking people in was offering to carry everyone's luggage up the stairs for them. There are 4 flights! The water in our shower wouldn't turn on but the sink was fine. So, we were given access to an additional room to shower. The staff makes up the difference for the needed repairs.

The winning points for this hotel are helpful staff and a pleasant location by the water. The room was extremely hot and stuffy, no air conditioning and a window that is blocked from opening fully. It was hot and stuffy at all hours of the day and night while it was a tolerable 26 degrees outside. Breakfast was ok though nothing classy. Good value of 10.99 for a full breakfast per adult and free for a kid with a paying adult. Dinner was expensive but poor quality. Very busy and noisy and long waiting times for everything - dinner, desert, and check. On the positive side, 20 minutes to Dover Castle and White Cliffs, 3 minutes to the bus stop with the bus that takes you to the train station, and about 8-10 minutes to grocery stores and restaurants. For those who like running, excellent running opportunities along the harbour and an outdoor gym in the nearby green space.

We arrived at 2:25pm, and on one of the hottest recorded days. We were greeted with "check-in isn't until 3pm, but you can go have a drink at the bar. Or you can do early check-in for 15 pounds". A "welcome to the Premier Inn", would have been nice. However we soon found out they did us a favor, because there was no air conditioning, and the window could only be opened about 6 inches. A fan was provided, but had little effect because the window could be only opened slightly, and only outwardly, rather than up or down. The air was so stiffeling, that at around 2am, I went outside and sat on a bench.

Hotel is rather rundown and shabby. It is clean though. I paid for a family room one queen bed w a sofa. I was traveling with my brother so he could not stay in the same bed. He graciously slept on the couch. He went to talk to somebody on duty and they seem like they were going to raise the rate that we paid for a lesser room. I said no, I did not. Anyway, the staff was rather rude and the room was not what we paid for.

NO AIR! Do not stay here! The room was ROASTING. I am talking 30.5 degrees C, 87 degrees F! It was unbearable! The window only opened out three inches --it was cool outside, no way to get any fresh air in. One tiny fan was aimed at the bed. There was no ice machine to get some ice to cool down. This is inexcusable--we were nauseous from the heat. This was DANGEROUS! We were stuck to the sheets with sweat. In 2026, to have NO AIR, NO VENTILATION, NO ICE is inexcusable and hazardous. Someone is going to have a health incident and sue. DISGUSTING!
