Drum Point Lighthouse was designed to help guide vessels through rough waters. Still an important feature of the landscape today, it's bound to have some stories to tell about sailing triumphs and rescues.
Located in Solomons, this longstanding beacon is worth a visit. But you'll find plenty more to see in this area. Calvert Cliffs State Park, Sotterley Plantation, and Cove Point Lighthouse aren't too far from Drum Point Lighthouse.
