  • Cozy, country home surrounded by nature with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a sleeper loveseat to host your next getaway. Fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, free Wifi and Roku TV's. Barbeque on the deck while enjoying beautiful sunsets or a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise. The gas firepit and electric fireplace provide a cozy atmosphere during the fall and winter months. As the home states, you are nestled in a whitetail haven where you will likely see beautiful whitetail deer and their fawns passing through as they call this area home. Just 15 miles from the Ark Encounter, local dining and shopping. We are centrally located between Lexington KY, Louisville KY and Cincinnati OH. We're 49 miles to the Kentucky Horse park, 48 miles to the Creation Museum, and 34 miles to the Cincinnati Zoo.

We came down for a wedding and this was the perfect place. The house was absolutely beautiful. The owner was cutting the grass when we got there and he was so nice. It was so nice and peaceful hanging out in the deck. It was a perfect place to spend the weekend.

Mothers Day getaway

My wife and I brought our mothers up to see the ark for mother's day. The house was perfect! Clean and cozy, just like we were at home. Enjoy peace and quiet on the covered deck. We had a great stay and a great host.

This home is located in what you might feel is out in the middle of no where when actually you are close to so much. The house was very clean and organized with everything you could need. The beds slept amazing with nice large pillows. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience in which you could do a load of laundry in less than an hour. Highly recommend staying here if you are going to the Ark Encounter or just wanting to visit Kentucky.

This very clean and lovely home was a delight for our group of 4 women. Everyone was happy with this important part of our short vacation. It would have been easier if we’d arrived before dark as road is a bit narrow and winding, but a beautiful relaxing drive in the daylight. Peaceful location but not too secluded. Just what we wanted after enjoying our days at the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. Good communication made us feel welcomed. Jackie messaged to be sure we got there ok and had all we needed. The beds and pull-out sofa were comfortable with plenty of nice pillows. Kitchen had all the necessities and more, including nice cookware, pantry supplies and spices. We brought our own coffee for the coffee pot, but lots of coffee and creamer were provided, one of several nice touches. We appreciate the thought and effort that went into making a wonderful place to stay! Wish we’d had time to use the grill and enjoy the fire pit on the deck, but we all loved sitting in the morning sun on the front porch. Had nice evening walks with beautiful sunsets. We also enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and a delicious meal at Bean’s Café and Bakery before heading home. We had a great trip in every way! Thanks very much!
