“Utterly beautiful seaview and very nice staff”

“Great location, close to the A1, with the pub nextdoor and also Asda and a garden centre just up the road. Staff at the pub were very helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and quiet. Tea and coffee available in the room. Okay for a one night stop over.”

“We were happy to see that there was a restaurant and bar on the premises when we arrived as we were tired and it was raining. The food was good and fresh. The rooms are spacious but plain. The shower worked fine. The bathroom could use a shelf or cabinet to put your stuff on. There was a coffee and teas station. We were on the second floor with no lift since it’s an older building if that is a concern for you. The neighborhood was quiet and you could see the ocean from our window although it was……

“Overall, the property was in good condition and appeared well maintained. Since the check-in process is entirely self-service, I ran into an issue when my key set did not include the main door entrance key. Fortunately, a staff member was available to assist me; otherwise, I would have been locked out. The room had a noticeable moldy smell, and the washroom did not provide any toiletries, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the bed linens and towels were clean, freshly washed, and……

“My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Marshall Meadows Manor House. We stayed one night, but ate dinner and the included breakfast at the hotel. The room was clean, the food excellent, and the staff genuinely helpful. The manager assisted with luggage, provided us with helpful advice for our destination the following day, and was very attentive while also serving at the restaurant. We walked the cliff top trail from the property and enjoyed the amazing views of the Berwickshire coastline, as……

“Away from the main city . Hotel location is quiet silent , lot of green farms behind the hotel.Hotel building is very old but well maintained . Hotel foods are very nice also the staff’s are fantastic and very helpful. They can improve cleaning in parking area and external stairs and inside corridors. “Ignore Karen’s review! Don’t be afraid to stay here. This is a lovely, quirky place. Super clean. Quiet. Check in was a breeze. There were two people waiting for us when we arrived and someone carried everything upstairs for us. It was a great place to stop overnight. We stayed on the top floor in a very big, pretty room that fit five (we were 4). Shared bathroom, but we were the only ones upstairs, so no big deal. The little black cat is super friendly and likes a little love. The chickens……

“Self check in was very simple to follow. Room was basic but very clean. Tea making facilities with complementary biscuits. T.V. en-suit perfectly adequate. Breakfast was self service cereals, toast and fruit juice. Order for cooked breakfast was taken by waitress..... and beautifully cooked it was !!!! Outside the hotel is a beatiful view of the sea, free car parking is directly over the road, the car park contains a Co Op supermarket, there are half a dozen restaurants literally a stones throw……

“Staff and food were very good but stay was let down by a few niggles. I had booked a table for dinner but there was no record of it when I arrived. I had also asked for a room with a walk in shower but didn't get it. The biscuits on the tea tray were the smallest pieces of shortbread I have seen made worse by having no biscuits at all on my second night. The tea bags had not been replenished and why leave 3 cartons of long life milk for 2 people? I have stayed in many hotels with my dog and this……
