Gorgeous room, and the bus stop outside had direct links into the centre of Edinburgh. The bar downstairs was a bit loud during the evenings but was likely just due to the World Cup! Amazing place to stay.

Staff were lovely. Got us into our room as soon as the housekeeper had finished cleaning it. Bed was a little softer than preferred and there was an event in the function room that was quite noisy until just past midnight but otherwise a comfortable stay and convenient bus stops into the city right outside.

Room was kept clean, as was the rest of the building. Access to the restaurant and bar was great. The hotel itself was also nearby lots of other places that was nice for our stay, such as other restaurants, the bus stop, grocery store and the beach. It was a nice place to stay away from the busyness of Edinburgh, but still access the city through a 20-30 minute but ride. Only negative was the mattress wasn't in amazing condition

The staff were brilliant and very helpful with everything we asked for. However, whilst in the bar there was a long wait to be served and guests were having to locate the bar assistant from other parts of the hotel. It may be advantageous to instruct a staff member to be present permamntly, especially when busy. On the Saturday it was busy and the restaurant ran out of eight basic foods items' resulting in two options available. This was at 7.30pm. Please note we did very much enjoy our stay, but these things would refrain us from recommending you to our friends. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

The rooms were clean. The staff were helpful apart from one who was grumpy. Disappointed thought breakfast was included or atleast available,only Saturday Sunday. The bar was ok a but found in the evenings. The covered area was cold had ceiling heaters but had ti keep switching on as they re on a short timer. I had food one night the service and food was good. Bar staff were good and helpful.

Staff was on point friendly chatty very approachable room was clean welcoming. There is a bus stop right outside on both sides of the road so easy to get in to Edinburgh. The beach is a five minutes walk.

Nice hotel, small but clean room. No bath just shower which we didn’t mind but only had soap so if staying longer would need to bring own toiletries. Staff are nice & friendly and great customer service. Nice pub down stairs with live music at weekend & TV for sports. Close to public transport (bus & train). Free Wi-Fi.
