“We had a lovely stay at The Linton Hotel. The staff was great and super helpful and their full breakfast was so good! It is an early breakfast during the week, but it actually helped us organise better as we probably would overslept :P
Rooms are clean and quiet. All I could hear was bird songs in the morning.
We did book 2 different rooms during our stay as we went away for 2 days and back to East Linton. Some rooms can be small but I do think for the price and location, it was perfect for us.……

“We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming
The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and service was attentive.
This is a small village hotel not a chain. Service reflected that, nice and attentive……

“This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again ”

“Overall a very good value place to stay, and as long as you know the place’s limits in advance you can plan round them. A bit on the basic side (no desk in the room, no towels, no dedicated wifi (something cloudy that didn’t work on 4th floor, so I tethered iPad to phone). toilet and shower a bit “military grade” but the price point was exceptional. Most of the staff were really friendly. Oh yeah there was a bit of a smell in the 4th floor corridor, but this was only in the corridor not in……
