“I was a solo traveler visiting Edinburgh for the first time- I had originally booked a hotel on Victoria street but switched to the Horton for a more price convienent option. I’m very happy I did- I was only about a 10 minute walk from Victoria street and it was nice to not wake up right in the middle of all the tourists. I called the hotel ahead of time and explained I was a solo traveler so requested not to put me on a ground floor. They were very accommodating putting me on a second floor……

“Our first post lockdown trip within the country. We accidentally booked the accessible room. Staff was very helpful and changed to another normal room for our 4 night stay. Stylish room with well equipped kitchen. It was a bit warm in the room though. Another little down side was the ground floor room has less natural lights. Delicious breakfast from café Mayvn. We enjoyed our stay very much. Everyone trying to maintain a social distance from each other, sanitising everything after use,……
