“I had a very nice stay at the Open Arms Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The room was first class with a view over the village green and very comfortable.
The lounge area with the open fire is lovely and relaxing being able to have a pre- dinner drink and review the menu.
It was a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning again in the very near future.”

“The rooms were small but adequate. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the choice at breakfast was good. There was a small amount of parking space at the front of the hotel. It stands at walking distance from the railway station but noise is NOT intrusive.
There were a lot of stairs to the top floor of the hotel. There was a poor flow of water in the shower and the water took a long time to get hot, perhaps because of being on the top floor.

“We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming
The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and service was attentive.
