It was cheap. But I booked a two bed room and when we got there they said a water main broke in the two bed room, so all they had was a one bed room. I looked at it. It was a full bed, not ideal for my son and I. The floor was old linoleum with holes. I"d thought about a sleeping bag on the floor, but seeing the floor thought no - it didn't look very clean. A single lamp with no shade was on the floor. No TV. No furniture except a desk chair (no desk). It was the worst room I'd ever seen (and I've seen some bad ones having lived many years overseas). I suppose if one just wants cheap and really basic, you can get by. I didn't feel comfortable staying there. The front desk person was very helpful and said he'd confirm with Expedia the problem and support me getting a full refund, which I did. So that was a plus.
