Eric and Mary were magnificent hosts who treated us like family. The free breakfast each morning was phenomenal, the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. You can tell Eric and his staff take great pride in offering a truly unforgettable experience. It’s cute, has charm, but moreover, you immediately feel a sincere sense of welcome. And the breakfast is first rate. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, we were greeted warmly like old friends by Mary. As a same-sex couple, we are accustomed to being treated as either a nuisance to be tolerated or a minority to patronize. Neither of those things happened. At the Hummingbird, we are not only welcome, but we are treated as normal, wanted, and family. Our room, and the entire inn, were welcoming, clean, and absolutely gorgeous. Eric, the owner and host, was friendly and accommodating. The Charm Bar, located inside the Hummingbird, had a wonderful and friendly vibe, with delicious drinks made by Val.
