“Quiet rooms and comfortable ”

“The hotel is an older treasure! The 24' lobby with soaring columns with golden frieze around the tops are stunning. There is a great grand piano in the lobby that guests on our other frequent visits have played beautiful music on. The food and service in the restaurant very good. The rooms are not huge and neither are the bathrooms, but they are clean, comfortable and the decor is interesting - with letters and postcards from the early 1900s. We have stayed here 5 or 6 times and have always……

“This was a first time staying here and it was more than we can have expected. The staff is friendly and helpful. We did not make a reservation for dinner and they were able to add us and the steak was one of the best we have had. Coffee the next morning with great stories around a fire pit was really fun.
