Brand new!! Managed by Buckhorn Cabin Rentals and Property Management, “Simpler Times at Lake Buckhorn”is a favorite of Jim and Carolyn, owners of Buckhorn Cabin Rentals, who live in the same community!

Located in the log cabin community of Lake Buckhorn halfway between Ellijay and Blue Ridge and only 15 minutes to either, you will find plenty to see and do, from hiking, fishing, shopping and dining! Wineries!! Even nightlife!!

This cabin is perfect for a small family getaway. The cabin has a well stocked kitchen and the owners have thought of the little extras that really make it nice. Great communication with the property managers. Cabin is clean and has a new feel to it. We would most definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our annual girl's weekend at this lovely property! It was everything as described. The cabin is warm & cozy, provisioned extremely well, top-notch beds & linens, extremely clean, and awesome back porch views. The cabin is located half-way between Blue Ridge and Elijjay and we enjoyed an afternoon in each charming town. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway!

Great place to stay

Jim went above and beyond our expectations. Ice storm caused a delay in staying at the original cabin and Jim let us stay in a separate cabin for one night until the ice melted. Cabin was perfect other than no curtains or blinds in upstairs bedroom.

Perfect property for 2-4 people. Also allow pets. Everything appeared new, clean and decorated with charm. Host was easily accessible for questions. Close to Ellijay. beautiful views from two decks. We had a great time !

Great place!

We are inexperienced mountain drivers and had a hard time without a 4 wheel vehicle getting up the grade and into the driveway…. Definitely our inexperience. However place is super clean and porch is fantastic!

Absolutely amazing

My husband and I [and fur baby] needed an escape after a hectic few weeks and just wanted to disconnect. We stay at cabins across the southeast quite regularly and this is hands down our favorite so far. It was so unbelievably clean it felt like we were the first people to ever stay there. It was incredibly cozy, had all the comforts you'd want, and the location was absolutely perfect. The bed was SO comfortable and waking up to that view every morning was wonderful. The host communication was also top notch. We've already recommended this place to multiple friends and family!

What a sweet home. Location is great, very easy to get to. The home is completely stocked with all amenities you could ever need. Had a little trouble with the TV remote (needed batteries) and Jim and Carol were extremely quick to respond and trouble shoot. I would love to stay there again!!

The location of the cabin was great. Approximately 7 miles from downtown Ellijay. Private, with beautiful views from 2 balconies. Kitchen is well stocked. Overall, very clean. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Northern Georgia

This stay was absolutely fantastic! It was exactly the getaway we were looking for. Management had clear communication and the check-in/check-out was very easy to follow. Jim was very good at checkin in on anything we needed and would give great suggestions for places to visit/eat. The property itself was beautiful. We arrived and it was all set to go four us. It was clean and very well stocked on supplies. My experience with Vrbo had me bring supplies such as soap, sponges, paper towels and toilet paper, but these were all provided and well stocked. The kitchen was also well supplied. We enjoyed being able to use the pots and pans to make ourselves some meals to eat out on the beautiful deck. The area is also fantastic. The property is a little ways out but is close to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge, so we got to split our stay between the two beautiful areas. It is also close to a lot of popular attractions such as the orchards and vineyards as well as hiking trails to see the falls. We are definitely planning on making this one of our regular spots!

Great Cabin

Cute Cabin. Great for 2-4 people. Balcony’s are awesome to sit on. Very quite. Host are great. Good communication. Easy check in and out. 4 star due to being a kid pool table and no where to put your dry food. No pantry or empty cupboards.

Great cabin!

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and it was perfect for two couples. Short drive to downtown Ellijay and Amicola Falls. The cabin was incredibly clean. We will be back.
