The living-room will inspire you: Free truss on the side and ceiling, free brickwork on the front page, an unusual ceiling height of 3.75 m, with one special room for special days. Even sleeping in the bunk bed is a different way than in everyday life. If you are more people or want an extra bedroom, you can also book another room, access is via the other side of the hallway. If necessary, you can still use a second additional bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs as self-catering. For Bakery and Pizzeria, there are also a few steps. Modern bathroom with shower. From the house you can take wonderful walks or bicycle to explore the area (bicycle station). Grocery Stores (Aldi, Edeka, Lidl) in a few minutes. Dazu kommt dann noch die perfekte Lage im Ort: in wenigen Schritten ist man an der Bushaltestelle oder an der S-Bahn, im Geschäft, in der Altstadt, im Wald, an der Ruhr / am Kettwiger See, oder in der Gastronomie. OG.Da dort auch Kinder wohnen, kann es auch früher am Tag schon mal eine Geräuschkulisse geben, allerdings war es für unseren Zweck vollkommen in Ordnung.Einzig von der Zimmeraufteilung waren wir etwas irritiert, da wir nicht wussten ob wir das untere Treppenhaus als Durchgang mit verwenden durften. Die Ferienwohnung wurde während unserer Abwesenheit betreten, da auf einmal ein Paket (adressiert an die nachbar Adresse) in unseren Räumlichkeiten stand. Schade, Privatsphäre ist uns wichtig. Morgens um 7 steht man senkrecht im Bett, da die Familie oben drüber beim Start in den Tag die halbe Wohnung zerlegt. Parkmöglichkeiten für mehr als ein Fahrzeug = schlecht! Die FeWo in Kettwig liegt zwar etwas abseits der Stadt, hat aber in der Nähe einen Supermarkt und einen Bäcker. Liegt allerdings direkt an der Strasse. Parkplätze sind in der Nähe zu finden, man muss vielleicht mal 50 m laufen. Die Wohnung selbst ist rustikal und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wohnbereich und Küche sind durch einen Korridor von den Schlafzimmern getrennt. Das eine Schlafzimmer ist gleichzeitig ein Durchgangszimmer. Fazit, rustikal eingerichteter Altbau, genügend Platz für alle. Die Lage ist super (man muss nur wissen, dass die FeWo an einer Hauptstraße liegt und man somit Verkehrslärm hat). Der Gastgeber sehr freundlich und verbindlich. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Sauberkeit.
