One of the nicer places to stay in Evanston with a good restaurant and an excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Hotel a bit dated and lighting was just ok in large rooms with a range of furniture. I will stay here again - probably the best option in the area and walking to dinner/breakfast sure beats driving.

The staff was great. Everyone was so friendly. The waterfall display out front took our breath away, being from Florida. We just don’t see that. Inside they were different taxidermy species and it really put us in the western mood. We ate at the legal tender, and the meal was phenomenal. Our hats off to young Brandon, our waiter, who took wonderful care of us. Highly recommend this place.

The Dunmar Inn is a nice motel and very comfortable. We would stay there again. The breakfast is pretty abundant and the hostess gave me a to-go box for us to take some fruit on the road.

Finding the hotel was confusing. We pulled in late at night after a long day of driving. Sign for hotel was very small on side of the road. They have a large well lite sign at least 30 foot tall advertising the restaurant Legal Tender. That made us question if we were in the right place. Hotel room was dated. Cracked tiles on the bathroom floor and loose laminate flooring in the large bedroom. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, French toast, biscuits and gravy. I think the stay was an overall good value.
