Overall good stay. However few points that could be improved upon, mainly from communication point of view. As we were travelling from the other side of the country we had requested if any non-dairy milk was available for use on the day we arrived and although the host said that would be fine, no milk available on arrival. Also the cutlery and plates etc were overtly greasy with some bits of old food on them which mean we re-washed them all. On first morning of our stay we went down for breakfast in the cafe underneath the property. Busy morning and staff did tell us there would be a wait which was fine for us. But after 45 minute wait, with 2 other tables being served before us (despite arriving after us) no food. When it did arrive, lukewarm at best and we did not then have time to wait another 45 minutes. So breakfast was a disappointment unfortunately. The staff definitely needed some better communication between them all. The location is great, right near the estuary, local parade of shops, cafes and restaurants. We had a great weekend stay at this property. It is close to some good restaurants and the town has lots to offer. The accommodation was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The shower has lots of pressure - most enjoyable. We had a great breakfast in the cafe downstairs.
