"All staff were extremely helpful and friendly in all areas of the hotel. Unfortunately there was no working radiators on the top floor and the room was cold. There was a small electric fan heater in the room which we cleaned prior to as it it was covered in dust. My fault but I hadnt realised that there wasn't a proper shower in a room described as a premium. The kettle was dirty with coffee stains on the outside and generally appeared old. I wasn't happy to use it until I cleaned it. Food and drinks all excellent."

The menu continued into the evening and we were able to see why it's so popular. A great meal, and then a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning. The room, facilities and bed were all comfortable and all in all, we had made a good choice in a quiet rural location."

"What an amazing gem of a place to find. We had the most amazing stay. From start to finish customer service and communication was great. Its worth noting customer service is not around on the weekend. Not an issue to us, we were after some wood for a fire but the local hardware shop in Rhayader town sorted us out. Gorgeous little place to visit. If you stay, you must do the reservoir and dam walk, absolutely stunning. Couldn't fault the accommodation at all and the highland cows were so cute!!"

Being treated by the cat was lovely as it was so friendly and waited for us at the top of the stairs when we came to our room. So much looking at planning to go back for another visit."
