“It’s a pleasant experience to stay in this B & B. The host Tom is very friendly and helpful. Nicely decorated bedroom with everything I need. There’s a kettle and a few types of tea inside the room, and the breakfast is more than good enough for me. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Knighton. It’s just a small town and so it’s within walking distance to all main attractions.”

“If you want luxury go elsewhere BUT if you are happy with basic bed and board this was ok.
It is above a pub so be mindful of that if you want early quiet nights.
The room was clean and sufficient. The shower was good, but dated but it worked well. There is parking.”

“Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms with good ensuite facilities at a great price. Restaurant has excellent dishes at good prices and the bar serves a good range of drinks again at good prices. A Continental Breakfast is included and there is no cooked breakfast option. The only drawback is the lack of a lift and one or two floors are a bit unveven but to be expected at over 400 years old.

“The site did not indicate sign in was 3 to 6. Also, Google showed a pub AND a B&B. We arrived at 8 pm. to a locked door. Arrival was swift after a phone call but is not guaranteed. After that, the room was spotless, lots of extra touches. The lady at breakfast was lovely, and you choose it at sign in with numerous extras available.”

“Very basic room, could do with some improvements such as soap in the bathroom, a spoon to stir tea/coffee. Tea bags just loose, would be better in a sachet. Didn’t dare try any food in the bar/dining room due to the large rats seen running in the area near the kitchen and bin area. No housekeeping, nobody came into my room during my stay to make the bed, change the towels and empty the waste bin in the room, disappointing. On a positive note, the room was warm and the bed very comfortable. Lots……
