Top Forciolo Hotel Reviews

Le Dauphin Hotel

Le Dauphin Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This is a two star hotel wich is situated across the road from the bus, train and ferry port and 5 minutes walk to the city centre. The hotel is in an old building adjoining a bar which has no noise impact on the hotel rooms. The entrance is through a hallway shared with other apartments and is accessed via a lift. The room, while basic, has everytimng you need with a small bathroom with very good shower, good kingsized bed with clean fresh linen and very good air-conditioning. Our room looked out onto the main road and across to the port area. We had no impact from road noise. Staff were helpful and allowed us to store our luggage after check out."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Forciolo?
The best time to visit Forciolo is during the shoulder seasons of May, June, and September, when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are smaller.

These months offer warm, sunny days ideal for exploring Corsica's natural beauty without the intense heat and larger tourist numbers of July and August. You'll find it easier to enjoy hiking trails, coastal drives, and local villages. Travelers looking for a relaxing trip will appreciate the calmer atmosphere during these times.

For those who enjoy a more lively option and don't mind warmer temperatures, July and August are also excellent choices. This is peak season, so all services and activities are fully operational, and the sea is at its warmest for swimming. Families often find this period ideal for a summer vacation with plenty of options for outdoor activities.
