"From the moment we booked until our last moments on this striking property, the host was incredible. We loved the location, the privacy, peacefulness and absolute tranquility of Thorn Creek Cottage. The cottage had everything we needed from great kitchenware to internet service in the middle of the mountains! For a fisherman and a chef it was the perfect escape. We did not want to leave and will be back in April."

"This was the perfect weekend getaway! There are mentions in previous reviews about a water ring around the hot tub and a lack of pots and pans. We quickly found the cookware and realized the handles detach (those are in the silverware drawer), which cleared up the confusion. Regarding the water ring around the hot tub, we understand that well water can sometimes leave mineral deposits or discoloration, so we simply cleaned it off ourselves without any issues.Overall, the stay was great and exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend away. Our only complaint was an unusual smell inside the property. We believe it may have come from the cleaning products, as it reminded us of Fabuloso. The scent was quite strong and lingered on our clothing. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our getaway!"

"I booked this property to take my mom for a long weekend for her 86 th birthday. It was myself, mom and my two sisters. We loved the proximity to the farmers markets and the fact that it was quiet and out of the hustle and bustle of town. The neighboring horses greeted us upon our arrival. The home was clean and well stocked with kitchen items, water, coffee, creamer, snack bars etc. plenty of towels and bathroom supplies!! We made use of the fire pit every night. There was plenty of wood to meet our needs. Check in and check out was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this home and would stay again."

"House was very easy to find and about 2 min away from Seneca Rocks. Very convenient with yokum's store right down the street. Well stocked kitchen. Nice rooms and bathroom. Pet friendly with a nice yard for the dog. Seneca creek right out the back door. Overall great place and would definitely stay again."
