Thought we felt safe in the area and the staff was nice enough the hotel itself is a mess. It is blatantly unkept and unsafe.

Safe and cheap, very convenient. Has a in room fridge, microwave and coffee/tea maker. Only downside is slight cigarette smell but other than that, worth it for the price.

Rest Inn

The lady that checked us in was amazing and very efficient less than 5 min. I have 2 service dogs that the said was no charge. Which I was expecting to pay extra for atleast 1 of them. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Would recommend the Rest Inn to my friends and family and strangers.

Actually alright and staff always available and curious. Pool was empty, was very difficult to find a place during the eclipse weekend. Only available one night had to stay at much worse place it was scary place the other hotel. Was glad to have forest inn .

When I arrived there was a guy in a wheelchair in the parking lot with a electric leaf blower blowing leaves away. He clearly worked there. He did an amazing job cleaning the outside of the property. It was fall and there were leaves from many trees everywhere. But after a few hours, it was perfectly clear and clean. Kudos for the guy with one leg for working so hard and also to the hotel for making a job for the hard to employ.

Front desk staff are great the 2 girls work so hard but the property needs renovation with updates badly can̈t clean that carpets need replaced air conditioner heat wouldn't work microwave and fridge were so old it was gross not something you can clean but had to stay here ðue to location but it will be my laßt for 60 bucķs iwhich is crazy and way overpriced for what you get i can get nicer motel just about anywhere for that

You get what you pay for. The beds were clean and bug free. However the bathroom didnt gave a vent and you could see the mold growing over the shower head. There was one healthy cockroach that i seen right before i left. But i guess its great for those who dont mind the company. Other than that, i slept fine and would recommend if youre on a budget.

When I walked into the lobby, first thing smells like marijuana the lady at the desk was friendly. There’s a little noisy at the property. The bathroom need to be renovated. There was half of the toilet paper rack on the wall and I don’t know where the rest of it was very low quality towels and seem to have either stains on them or they were not washed well I give this a two star hotel at best would not recommend

Friendly and helpful staff, easy check in, great value, convenient, smelled nice, appeared mostly clean, furniture was in good shape, tv worked great, ac/heat worked great, coin laundry/snacks/exercise equipment/coffee/atm on site, pool on site-but not in currently working order, parking sufficient, close interstate/shopping/food. Could use some updates/refreshing, bathtub super old looking/cracked/rusted on bottom, tile somewhat smashed in, sink drained very slowly, shower curtain not washed and stuck together at bottom, toilet ran a while, bathroom plug clearly had caught fire at one point, fridge was not cleaned out at all and had some sort of brown liquid in the bottom, workers were working on the room directly above all afternoon/evening until about 2am when we called the front desk and asked that they please stop for the night so we could get some sleep. Bring your own shampoo and soap!

The lady at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and friendly (I wish I had gotten her name to give her proper credit). The hotel is aging, but looks like it was once very nice. Now has typical wear and tear you'd expect. Looks like management is scrimping and saving where ever possible... No frills. But for a reasonably priced place to stay it was just fine. However: And this is not a complaint about the HOTEL, but I'll never use EXPEDIA again! Somehow, in the process of reserving my room online, THE DATE GOT SWITCHED. And there was no refund or rescheduling allowed by Expedia! (I called them and tried.) Go to hell Expedia! This is the last time I'll ever use your #@$¶ website EVER again! Extremely inconvenient!!!! Are you reading this review on Expedia? Take my advice and call and book your room with the hotel directly! Mention the price you're seeing online and I'll bet you get the exact same rate, and you can verify the date and room is correct.

My commode would not flush. Manager said maintenance man would arrive soon (at the motel); provided me with a plunger in meantime. Maintenance man appeared 2 hours later and advised that he lived on the property. He used a snake device, but flushing remained slow (but feasible). Manager also advised that my room (101) was not the only one with this type of problem. I stayed three nights; towels were replaced only on request and guest turning your used ones in first. Sign stated that if you failed to check out by 11 am, then you would be charged for another full day stay, without exception. I can understand that, but it did not create a "friendly" atmosphere. I will say that for the price it was what one might expect. Occupancy rate was low, and many persons were living there long-term. It was quiet and reasonably clean. This is not a 2-star property! It displayed an 8.2 travel advisor rating sticker (must have been from years ago).
