Pulled in late at night, very tired and was really pleasantly surprised by the easy accessibility, cleanliness of each cabin and the incredible views of the water. The staff was really helpful the next morning the main lodge and room filled with books and cozy corners was really, really pretty. Very casual. Pool and sauna look adequate… didn’t try them.”
“We were looking for a location between Portland and Acadia National Park, and settled on the Camden area. We are so glad we did. Glenmore by the Sea was perfect for us! Our little cottage was a perfect home-away-from-home. The setting and landscaping are beautifully maintained. Breakfasts were great and delivered quietly to our door. We got great nights of sleep there due to the quiet atmosphere all around and the comfortable bed. The shower head had the best water pressure of any we have……
“We loved our 3-night stay in the cottage! It was a little tight for our family of 4 but it was perfectly clean and decorated adorably. It had everything we needed to make a cooked breakfast each morning and a patio out front overlooking the water. The hot tub unfortunately didn’t seem to be working as the water wasn’t warm/hot at all, however, our boys enjoyed swimming in the pool. We drove into Acadia both days and it was about 1.5 hours drive. We would definitely stay again if we go that way……
“My husband & stayed for one night as part of a coastal trip to cycle in Belfast area. The room was spacious and had a coffee maker, small frig & a balcony. We really enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. It was a convenient location and after dining at a nearby lobster pound, we got to sit around the outdoor fire pit and chat w other guests. Overall a good place to stay. The staff were very friendly & helpful too.”
