"We were surprised how lovely this old hotel is, was expecting not that great but we had an excellent time and the hotel is lovely! The reception staff were very helpful and polite and check in/out was quick and simple! The guys behind the bar were both cheerful and chatted with us.
Our family room consisted of 2 bedrooms, a double bed and twin beds. It was very warm and toasty. (only one complaint we were woken up around 7am by a loud noise outside, maybe a generator or something?)

"Absolutely shocking! Turned up the place looked shut down and abounded all smashed windows and graffiti all over walls. Knocked on door to see if I got the wrong address and they said my room was cancelled because toilet was broken! Well I wouldn’t of stayed there but the fact they didn’t contact me before hand to say the room was cancelled is bad, AVOID!!!

Host Lynne was very friendly and welcomed us immediately even though we arrived early. Home was immaculate and comfortable. it was nice having two bathrooms. Everything we needed was available. would absolutely love to stay here again next time we are in Liverpool for a game or getaway. "
