It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! Having stayed in many short-term rental properties in the area for quite a few years, this one stands out as the best in terms of quality of the home and appointments, location, and cost. Joy and Patrick even went to the extent of decorating the home for Christmas (including a full-height tree) for our stay over the holidays. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again. ”

“We loved our stay at the Apple Mountain house. We had a nice relaxing evening with a beautiful view, a lovely fire pit and wonderfully cozy deck. The home was very clean and had a lot of activities for adults and children. All questions were answered immediately when I asking the host. I would recommend four-wheel-drive to get to the location.
