Room smelled bad. Office smelled like cigars and cat urine. Questionable clientele in some of the other rooms. I can say that the office staff was very nice, the sheets were clean and I didn’t see any bugs.. However, everything about the place was falling apart. Price was lowest price around. Conveniently located just of I-75\. Internet is almost non existent, but room has fridge and microwave. I didn’t have any trouble with safety. This was most definitely a you get what you pay for situation. No one is going into your room while you are away. But it is the winter circut for both HITS and WEC, so "better" hotels were out of my price range. Still had 5 hours left with my drive so I got a room. What a mistake. Slept with my clothes on. Didn’t want to take a shower there. Didn’t even want to pull the bedspread a k. I had a blanket and pillow in the car. Lucky I did. Place should be torn down or throw 5-10 million to maintain it. Pictures didn’t match the room at all. I was a woman traveling alone and I always felt safe and comfortable. Everything worked in the room. I didn’t have an issue with the bed or using anything. The fridge and microwave were great. There was hot water. I forgot to mention the issue with the bathroom before I left. There is a small hole in the ceiling above the shower. When the person in the room above showers, the water comes out of the hole. If someone smokes in the room above then the hotel room bathroom smells like cigarette smoke. I had a non smoking room. The staff were all ready nice. I was able to get around without a problem.
