Stayed here for 2 nights with my 7 year old lad as we were doing some activities over the weekend. The staff are very friendly and the food is great (offering decent Indian and typical pug grub type food). The room was fine and as expected. The only downside is that it's a busy pub and extremely loud with punters up until midnight. - You could literally hear full conversations through the floor boards of all the pub goers. So, not ideal if you're needing to sleep before 1am. All in all, not a bad place to stay if you're not fussed by noise
Got there a bit early to check in, so headed into London before checking in. Decided to watch a show and checked everything except for when the pub closed. During the interval I called the hotel to say I’d be 30 mins late, they said someone would wait up for us. Got there 30 minutes after closing and the staff member was waiting at the bar for us! Excellent service, above and beyond!
First off i would just like to say i had a wonderful time staying at the greyhound in the Staff and management were so patient and kind to me helping me with whatever i needed including helping me getting my wheelchair and luggage up to my room during all the nights of my stay. My room was also upgraded for free and the deluxe room i stayed in was amazing with a large spacious room with a double bed equipment for making tea and coffee a large television and wardrobe filled with necessities for a longer trip like an ironing board and air conditioner (it was very warm during my stay). The bathroom was also well appointed once again being spacious with dual shower and bath as well as an anti slip mat available for safety. The entire inn itself is a beautiful property with period features like wood beams and such and really made everything feel cosy and inviting. Overall my trip was amazing and the greyhound inn definitely deserves my 5 star review and thank you once again to the staff that helped me throughout my long weekend stay!
The room was rather small but adequate for 2 nights. It was rather a long steep way to get to our room as it was top of the pub and we are oaps! Very noisy on Saturday night but not bad on Sunday. Basically it needs refurbishment. No breakfast available too.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
I booked a deluxe room and the photos advertised was not as expected, instead walked into a dive of a room. Completely mis-sold along with being dirty. We walked out of the room after an hour and booked another hotel instead. Staff were rude and filming other guests complaining for the same reasons as us put us on edge, would not be recommending this to anyone. I have made a complaint to hotels.com to request my money back as this was completely unacceptable.
Not as it was a year ago change to OYO cheap & basically poor

Disliked: Staff & service
No stay.
Having checked in at 7.30 I went out to meet clients at 8.30. On returning at 10.30 the entire place was closed with no lights on and no-one anywhere to be seen. I knocked, I telephoned but no answer.
After 20 minutes of trying to get in to. the building I gave up and got a cab to a neighbouring hotel and stayed there.
On returning in the morning to get my bags I was informed there is a door round the back, through a garden which you can get in after hours. I said I was not informed about this and was told 'everybody knows this', to which I replied, no one had told me, and as the place is a pub I had expected the front door to be open at 10.30 as the advertised hours of the pub were 11pm closing. The guy just shrugged. Very poor customer service.
We had booked three rooms.
Our room nothing worked.
It was a very cold night and walking up the stairs to the room you could feel it blowing a gale.
There was a radiator in the room that was luke warm with the valve fully opened. There were another three plug in heaters around the room, none of which worked and an electric towel rail which was switched on but no heat, the bathroom was freezing. I asked who I believe to be the manager if he could check the fuse and try and get heaters working. Later that night returning to our room, still the plug in heaters or heated towel rail were not working.
In the morning went to bathroom only to discover no door handle on inside, so my wife had to let me out from the outside. Tried to put TV on, and make a cup of tea putting on the kettle, but, not working. Nice hair dryer at bottom of wardrobe, but pretty sure would not work if plugged in. One of the other rooms had same problems as us, and the last room had heating but could not lock main room door. Pleasant staff and nice bar area, but would really have enjoyed stay if the above worked.
