"The hotel was conveniently located as the airport limousine bus stop was only a 30 second walk, the subway right in front of the entrance, and restaurants surrounding the hotel. Best of all, the staff were friendly and helped us so much with figuring out where to eat, how to get to certain places, and simply making our stay welcomed. If you're looking for a lively neighborhood without the congested feeling of myeongdong, Novotel Dongdaemun is the place to stay."

"Staff were clean, our cleaning lady was especially attentive and kind. We loved the comforter but not the mattress so much; it was okay. The area is so so but definitely helpful that it's so close to the subway station. A bit far from all the main attractions. Hotel being right next to the train station was a bit loud and was not helpful trying to cure my jet lag but honestly it's a great hotel for the value"

"Hotel was clean and comfortable to stay in. Location was also great with direct subway access and many bus options right outside. I stayed for the second time in Room 2601, but two reported room faults weren’t rectified from my last stay. 1\. Cabinet hinge for the in-room fridge is almost falling apart. 2\. Bathroom glass door scrapes the floor tile whenever opening/closing, raising safety risk. I hope this would be looked into as soon as possible. Hotel staff Ms Joy was exceptionally great in her service. She was patient and it was really nice of her to provide early check-in when I arrived very early."
