"Sinclair's is an older, well-maintained, and attractive property, with beautiful views of Kanchenjunga. The street leading up to it is steep, and then are stairs leading up to the hotel and more to the rooms (no lift), so you need to be all right with that. (We're over 70 and had no problem.) The staff is lovely and go out of their way to help you. I'd single out Bragya--I hope I have her name right--for exceptional service, helping us find a taxi to Bagdogra at a heavily touristed festival...

Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the tea gardens and the surrounding mountains from their rooms and common areas. It offers a secluded and relaxing experience, with walking paths winding through the tea plantations right outside your door.
