An absolute fantastic place to stay, eat, and regain some strength for the next phase of the West Highland Way. Not trekking, a beautiful place to take in the awesome scenery, delicious food and charming space.

The cottage was very quaint and comfortable. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking. Staff were cheerful and pleasant. The only downside was the super firm mattress and very poor water pressure in the shower.

We have been staying at the Oak Tree for many years when visiting Scotland and it is always a great highlight. The staff are always lovely and this trip, Kay really stood out as an exceptional server. She was so friendly and kind and made sure everyone was enjoying their stay. The Oak Tree is lucky to have her!

Beautiful location on the east bank of Loch Lomond. Perfect place to stay for a planned climb of Ben Lomond or any other activities related to Loch Lomond. We stayed in one of the cottages. A lovely room and bathroom with a view of the loch. Super breakfast too in the main building.

We had a lovely stay here while hiking along the West Highland Way. The rooms were nicely furnished and in cottages right on the Loch. Staff were very helpful and accommodating and we had a great meal in the restaurant.
