Svataborg beeindruckte mich mit seinen großen Fenstern und seinem weiten Blick in die Ferne, ebenso mit seiner stilvollen Einrichtung. Makellos perfekt wäre alles, wenn die Holzmöbel ein bisschen Auffrischung bekommen würden und die Fenster einen Schutz, damit die Fliegen nicht ins Haus kommen. Dies ist nämlich die absolute Todesfalle für die armen Geschöpfe denn ohne Hilfe finden sie……

“It was a great spot to experience the quiet river and surrounding mountains in northern Iceland. Our tent was well equipped and nicely decorated. The electric heater warmed us up nicely. It was a quiet spot with clean facilities. We also enjoyed breakfast on the property. ”

“This was, by far, the BEST place we stayed in all of Iceland on our 30-day visit where we booked 7 different hotels. We basically had the most beautiful 2-bedroom house to ourselves and the cost was unbelievably cheap. We stayed only 2 nights and if I had to do it again, I would have skipped the 3 day hotel in Akureyri and just traveled from here. “The Langvatan Guesthouse was the nicest stay so far during our past 8 days in Iceland. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The common dining area was very cozy and warm. The washrooms were spacious and clean. The rooms were simple and small, but that's all you really need at night. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! So many options to choose from. They also offered dinner, if we hadn't eaten dinner already, we would've had dinner here as well. Overall,100/10 would recommend & would……
