Disgusting and lied - this place is not what you would expect.
This residence had a smell of urine, the rugs were old and smelled. The whole entire house was so dusty and we have photos of everything. We came during the night and then had to leave due to the dust and had to check into a residence inn. My daughters started to have rash and sneezing non-stop. Both bathrooms had mold. This place IS NOT newly renovated. It is so old and smelly. The windows did not have full coverage of blinds, the blind in the downstairs bathroom was broken. Mud came out from the bathtub and my kids couldnt take any showers. The shower curtain was disgusting and falling off the bathtub. The upstairs shower had pink mold and one could not stand straight to have a shower and the curtain had filth all over it. The bed sheets were all old and had rips in them. The lamps were broken and the thermostat only worked downstairs. it was so hot downstairs where they had the heat at 82 degrees, because it was only 1 thermostat so there was no heat upstairs. There photos are not showing how old the property is. IT is NOT renovated. That is a lie. I didn't stay one night because this place was not sanitary and not clean. if anyone needs photos, please let me know. there was thick layer of hair on the floor in downstairs bathroom. I wanted to throw up. The air conditioner had paper taped to it in the living room and it was so cold and windy outside, that the wind was coming in and made so much noise. I asked for a refund, and they found excuses not to give to me.

Nice home
Nice property. Very quiet neighborhood and peaceful. Organized yet dusty. I had to clean the bathrooms. Smells old when walking in home. Only 1 tv (living room) but no service without signing in to own accounts (not good) no washer and dryer (not good) overall a good home though. Communication with host was excellent.

Peaked at adequate
We knew this was no Taj Mahal. However, basic expected items or procedures weren't in place either. No working coffee machine, no trash bags, no procedural pamphlet or process explaining the VRBO like wifi (check the equipment yourself) or neighborhood trash pickup. The first floor bathroom had a very slow drain for the tub and the sink had no pressure. Our last night around 7pm some random dude (very tired looking) used the lock code (only one lock on the door) and opened and came in. He said he was a cleaner. He definitely looked like he came from his regular job. He had no vehicle or cleaning equipment just a small plastic bag. The place looked like someone lived there. No big deal I guess. The host sometimes responds but usually it takes another attempt to message. The neighborhood is fine and 2 bus stops a few blocks away. No real grocery store is near. There's a Dunkin Donuts close (you'll be getting coffee there) and a cool diner with good food too. We were planning on only doing a breakfast there since we'd be going to other families in the area for a large wedding; or visiting into the city but even that was a challenge.I wouldn't necessarily consider this place as a "Vacation" rental but more as a Stop over. Our flights changed about a week prior and I messaged the host about checking in 3 hrs early. After a few days he responded. He mentioned about getting the cleaning crew out early (that nice gentleman that walked in I guess) he responded as we landed $30 an hr

Concert guys getaway
Needed a house close to a Metlife Stadium. Nice neighborhood only minutes from the stadium. Exactly what us guys were looking for. House could use some updating, however it served our purposes and the beds were comfortable.

The property was nice and clean. We could use a few nicer amenities in terms of finishes. Down bath tub clogged. Up bath was in BD and not easily shareable. But overall it was fine. Price was good. Thanks

Okay for what it is
The house is what it is. A house in close proximity to whatever you brings you to North Jersey. It certainly could use a much better cleaning, especially the bathrooms and kitchen. While there was plenty of coffee and k cups, just no working coffee maker. Additionally there were no paper towels or napkins anywhere in the house. There were no top sheets on any of the the beds and the blankets/comforters were certainly not those in the pictures. I would. It book or stay here again.

Great place to stay!
We were visiting family and this was a great little place to stay. It’s an older property, but the interior is nicely decorated. The kitchen could use a toaster and lids to the cooking pots. 2 of the 4 stove burners didn’t work, but we made due. There weren’t any electrical outlets that worked in the master bedroom, so we had to charge our phones & laptops in the hallway. Parking as great for 2 vehicles and it’s close to shopping areas. Overall, it was a great place to stay and competitively priced for the area.

Nice location for NYC
This was a great location for seeing all in the City. The beds were clean and comfortable and the home was nice for a family. The only challenge was there was nothing in the kitchen - I mean nothing - not even salt and pepper. When VRBO advertises "all the amenities of home" this kitchen lacked that. There was a pod coffee maker, but no pods, so what was that all about? There were very few pots, pans, and serving utensils. There was no cutting board, strainer, dish towels or glasses. The refrigerator did not give water or ice, so in addition to all that we had to purchase, we had to purchase that. We need a kitchen when we travel due to food allergies, so we can cook. Even the stove did not function properly. We went to the dollar store and bought basics: salt, pepper, cutting boards, dish towels, baggies, matches, etc. Then we went grocery shopping after that. As we rent multiple times a year, it makes a big difference for a place to simply have the basics like cutting boards, oil, dish towels, some spices, etc. Mino was very nice and responsive, but admitted that some things did not work. Overall, a decent place, but the kitchen left much to be desired.

House fell really short of expectations!
I stayed at many vacation homes and all have been fantastic and better than we expected for the price we paid. This property simply doesn’t compare to any of them. Here is the list. Good: 1. Communication with owner 2. All 4 mattresses were outstanding 3. Area was very quiet Bad: 1. Picture of beds with nice comforters was not what we got. It was actually a mix of multiple throw blankets that looked like it came from goodwill. Good thing they had enough on each bed due to the cold house temp 2. Old steam heating was set at 68 when outside temps were 20-40 degrees. Was told not to mess with thermostat downstairs and we found out why. The upstairs rooms were at least 10 degrees colder (especially my son’s room) and when we turned up the heat to 69-70 all the steam radiators in each room hissed and pipes banged real loud (so loud the neighbors could hear it). We woke up constantly at 2am to turn the heat back down to 68 to stop the loud noises. To remedy was turn up the heat while we were out for the day so we couldn't hear the noise and when we returned to sleep we turned it back down to 68. I am sure the neighbors hated the daily pipes banging. 3. All windows were either really old or cheap and the cold came right through. My sons cold upstairs room had old wood framed windows that the top window was stuck in the down position letting full blown cold air to come through. I tried my hardest to close but couldn’t so we blocked the wind with one of the throw blankets until i could borrow a tool from family to help loosen the window just enough to break it free from the bottom wood window. I almost fell through the window when it broke free. 4. Both sons rooms had window ac units. Both units had the accordion side panels to keep the wind out of the room. Not only were they barely good enough to keep the cold out but my youngest sons room was on the 1st floor and the side panels weren’t even secured to the window. Anyone from outside could just push in the panel and get in. Not knowing the neighborhood, this really stressed me out until I was able to get some screws from my family to actually secure the panels. Though not actually a safe secure, it was the best I could do. 5. No blinds in windows/curtains didnt cover windows and very thin. Curtain rods broke(I fixed). Patio door not secure. No dressers in any rooms. No sink mirror-I did temp fix. Furniture goodwill with covers. No cups. Live powerstrip behind kitchen sink

Great Location, Big House
My girlfriends stayed in this property for my bridal shower weekend. There were 5 girls total & they were comfortable during their stay. It’s a great area in a quiet neighborhood with lots of food options a nearby walking distance. Mino is an exceptional host. He was quick to respond to any requests & when I informed him my girlfriends were cold, he went & dropped off extra blankets the same night.
