“The lady I engaged with was great to deal with and responded quickly to inquiries. Upon closer examination, the place was not as clean as we had expected; however the host said she would address the issue. There are a lot of extras that were nice; for example a foosball table, a sunroom, a washer/dryer. It is in a good location on the Grand River and is quiet. It is also pet friendly which was what we needed. Overall I would recommend the place.”

2. Beachfront Cottage - Turkey Point (FREE PONTOON/SEADOO RENTAL INCLUDED)

“They advertise as “ Free Sea Doo Rental “! We booked 2 nights and they said we have to charge you 75 dollars an hour to cover the cost of the gas. I can drive my jet ski for 6 hours on a tank of gas which is 100 dollars. So they are deceptive and not honest in there business dealings The beds were as comfortable as sleeping on a box spring, the fireplace wasn’t working and they left us a micro furnace that popped the breaker after an hour of use. Never again. Not worth the money”

“Overall the property was very enjoyable. The beachfront aspect was definitely a plus both at sunrise and sunset. Amazing campfires on the beach and beautiful skies above. The property itself was in fairly good condition, a little bit of bubbling on the vinyl flooring but nothing noticeable to the eye. The beds were comfortable and the pull out couch worked great for my party of 6! No sleeping complaints. Overall a very enjoyable place to stay.”

10. Cottage 2: Charming Bungalow Steps from the Lake

“This was a great family gateway that made us all remember and think of our caribbean beaches back in Venezuela. Kudos to Tom and all the staff for their amazing customer service and attention to details. They were all very friendly and helpful to make our stay better. The only draw back is that the units don't have A/c unit and it was very very hot during the night even with all fans turned on. Tom mentioned they were working on that, and hopefully it'll be addressed for next summer.”
