It's small, family-run motel close to the University. It's not fancy, but it is clean, reliable and in a good location. The bathroom could use some hooks, and the toilet is a little small, but manageable. Someone has put a lot of effort into landscaping the grounds. If you are in need of a budget room, this place works.
What a welcoming and helpful staff at this small Inn. Comfortable and clean and accommodating for smokers with a chair outside your room and a butt can or ashtray. Airconditioning worked well, fridge and microwave in the room to. Close to a plaza and was close to our event. I would definitely go back.
I would have liked to see coffee available for guests in the rooms. The rooms were immaculate. The staff wad very pleasant. I asked for an extra pillow and was given it. The air conditioning was amazing. I enjoyed my stay. The showers were amazing as well with great water pressure.

Bed was very comfy. Room needs a good update and air conditioner needs a good cleaning
I really enjoyed Haven, they're very nice people and the environment is friendly and quiet. I strongly recommend the place for anyone having a stay in Hamilton.
Perfect place to just get your head down and explore. The staff were really friendly, the room was tidy, AC and heating in the room worked, and there was ample parking. Plenty of shops, gas stations, and food options nearby. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Hamilton/Niagara area.

Disliked: Amenities
Alice is a bit crusty but once you get talking she is helpful and kind. I liked my room. A king bed. The place needs renovation. Everything is old and it really should have a 1 star rating. No coffee or tea. Just a microwave and mini fridge.
My room was in the interior so I didn't get a chance to sit outside like some folks. They had chairs in front of their doors. Parking is great and well lit. The cleaning staff is nice!
