“Had the kind bed room with sleeper sofa! Didn’t have any bed sheets or pillows for the sleeper sofa. Went downstairs to all for blankets and pillows and was told he would have to find some. Eventually he brought us blankets but said there were no pillows. The hotel was not very clean and kind of smelled musty! Breakfast was decent.”

“I arrived late to the hotel and was greeted by a warm smile which put me at ease after a long day. My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast choices were limited, however healthy items were available. I would stay here again. Nice job Best Western staff!”

“All vending machines out of order, no elevator to reach second floor. Had to carry luggage up stairs. Don’t think they have a pool, if they do, I wasn’t told where it was. “When we first drove by the property appeared abandoned. We could see junk piled in windows, overgrown lawn/weeds, and trash all over by the side and back entrances. “Someone else said old but well maintained. They were correct. I walked into the room and the AC was off. It was about 80 in the room. No odd smell. Just hot. The AC cooled it down quickly and efficiently. The sheets were soft. Choice of flat or fat pillows. Bed was hard, but at least it was clean and smell free. I’m picky, and was satisfied”

“We frequently choose older motels that cost less. We look closely at their photos, and if it looks updated and clean we choose it. Usually we find it is owned/managed by an immigrant family, frequently from the Subcontinent, and they do an excellent job with the older property. The Royal Inn in Hudson, Wis., is such a place. It was very clean, the air conditioning worked well on a hot day, parked right in front of our room. Convenient location.”

“This hotel is garbage, I DONT RECOMMEND this to my friend. We paid almost 500$ for 2 nights and then our deposites got deducted another 40$ because they think we’re smoking. Which is we’re not. My husband and I bought a candle for our special night . And then 60$ more because of the bed sheets have stain on it. And the shampoo and soap I don’t have nothing to say .What f kind of hotel is this. Don’t used this hotel for your vacation . NOT GOD AT ALL.”
