We enjoyed this house very comfy cozy we stayed because we had a celebration of life and me and my family were able to just unwind here thank u so much we loved it and the jacuzzi was wonderful
Communication was great, very responsive. The home is clean, well set up and very comfortable. The location is easy and was very central to all the activities we participated in. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
This was our second time staying at this property, and once again it was a great fit for our needs. The location is convenient (right off of 340 with easy access to Rt. 9), and communication from the host, Laura, was great! The house was clean, well maintained, and everything was in good working order. We really enjoyed the hot tub and appreciated having enough space to host some family for a “Christmas” dinner, which made the stay extra special. The home was very quiet and peaceful overall. We did notice a bit of extra traffic related to Snow Riders, but it was not obtrusive at all and we never felt that our privacy was compromised. The heating was a little tricky, with some areas staying warmer than others, but we think we got the hang of it by the end of our trip. We also took advantage of the 10% discount with Snow Riders for staying on-property, which was super fun! Overall, a very enjoyable stay, and we would happily consider staying here again.
This place is very convenient for Harper's Ferry, being barely a mile from the park entrance. The rooms and the bathrooms are nice, although the heat didn't work in a couple of the rooms. The dining table in the sunroom is awesome.
My colleagues and I worked on a big project together. The sun porch is an excellent vacation office. We got a lot done and enjoyed the area. Everything is close by!
Really liked this house! Updated very nicely to accommodate several people & nice fenced in yard for my dog. Quiet, clean, supplied with all the necessities. Would definitely stay here again.
Lovely house. A couple of rooms were cold but not unbearably cold. The large table in the sun room was awesome for Thanksgiving dinner.
We would definitely stay again if we wanted a house in the area.
A little slice of heaven. We come back to the Harpers Ferry area about every second year. This year we discovered 2 new dog beaches, Quiet Waters and Downs Beach both in Maryland. Our dog had a ball! We may be back next year already because there are new places we want to discover. The hosts of the house are great and also River Riders is always a call away. The fuzzy blankets that were there was a plus on cold nights and mornings. We also saw a lot of deer this year and even a baby with spots! We think our dog thinks they are big doggies. Beautiful area, we can't wait to return. Thankyou for another relaxful vacation.
Overall, nice place to stay. Just a few downfalls. The coffee pot needs to go in the trash. First off, the basket does not fit into the machine. It is from a different set up, therefore we did not get our morning coffee as it would not brew and drip into the glass pot. Second no hot water upstairs, had to take showers downstairs if we wanted hot water. Finally, I think is the worst problem is that there were numerous big bugs in the upstairs bathroom and both guest rooms that we used. They were on the ceiling, night stand, walls and my husband had one climb across his glasses. We had kept all windows/doors shut, so unclear where they came from. Overall our stay was good, just need to fix those couple items.
The house was very clean and had straightforward instructions. Great access to many places including a short drive to Harpers Ferry. I would definitely stay there again.
Perfect accommodations for a multi generation adult family group. Comfortable, good AC, great kitchen. Dining space big enough for the group plus screened patio and other rooms for getting away from the group. Will return!

Great stay
Nice, large home with everything you need. We had a great time. Tranquil surroundings and fun nights around the fire pit. Shopping and activities are very close.
Good location, easy to get to. Place was very clean and there was a lot of room for a hot tub is a nice addition. The only thing to watch out for is your head because the attic room has a slightly low ceiling getting up to it.
This was our 3rd time at one of Laura's properties, second at this house. We had another great stay for our annual Girl's weekend. The house is lovely, we love the large table on the porch for games and meals. The kitchen has everything you need to make dinner. We have already booked for next year! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.
