The host was very accommodating and helpful. Location was perfect - quiet and close to sights, etc. we were in the area for a wedding, so we spent a lot of time out and about and everything was convenient.

Although I never met my hostess, the cottage stay was easy to book and just as advertised. Fantastic views, well stocked kitchen, and a personal greeting on wet board. Gas fireplace was warm and cozy.

We needed a place to land for one night during our drive from Maine to Georgia and the Silo was perfect! Very cute and the upstairs bed was very comfy. Nice place to visit.
I've been here twice, each time for an overnight on a North-South road trip, each time bringing one of my sons. I'd like to go back sometime for a long weekend and do some hiking.
Do yourself a favor and stay 2 nights in Harpers Ferry. If you love history; this is a must see.
Go visit early or late in center of town, and during the crowded day, visit cemetery walk across railroad tracks on walkway and outer edges of park.
Quaint steep town
Parking is always at a minimum in Harpers Ferry but we rode our bikes in so not a problem. So much history to learn, definitely worth a day trip.
