"It would have been nice to know the elevator was out of order, prior to booking, but we managed. The king size bed was comfortable. The place is old, which is charming, but the room didn't feel clean enough. Was an okay stay. I slept well, which was the point."

"We stayed just one night while visiting family in the area. For that purpose it was very well-suited. It was clean, comfortable, updated (or newly constructed), and had friendly staff and a good (free) breakfast in the morning. The only thing I didn't like is that they CHARGE FOR PARKING?! I've been to other properties of this brand and NEVER had to pay for parking. It was a bit of an unpleasant surprise to say the least. At the time we were there it was $10 for one night. So keep that in mind as a consideration, especially if you're staying multiple days."

"This stay was extremely disappointing and not as advertised. The main reason we booked this property was for the pool, but it was dirty and unusable for most of our stay—we were only able to use it for half a day.Inside the home, the cleanliness was also a major issue. The floors were dirty upon arrival, and we even encountered roaches, which is completely unacceptable. There were multiple maintenance problems as well, including cabinet doors that stick and visible damage throughout the home.Overall, the property looks much better in the photos than it does in person. The listing is misleading, and the condition of the home did not meet expectations at all. I would not recommend staying here."

"The property was very nice and clean. The app was not working properly for hours and we had a terrible/stressful time checking in.As soon as we landed in Florida, I tried getting into VRBO for the code to get into the house. It was not connecting and had an error message that the site was having technical issues. After a couple of hours, I deleted the app and reinstalled. I got into the app, but the messages were seen as small, empty bubbles so there was no usable information. I tried calling and was on hold for over 20 minutes only to be hung up on by whoever answered the call.My husband tried loading the app on his phone. Didnt work. We tried it on his laptop. Didn't work. Finally, the bubbles turned into messages and we were able to get into the house.Not a fun was to start a vacation.I do not blame the host at all. It was a technical problem, but it was very stressful and I will never use VRBO again."

"This place is in need of much repairs and a deep cleaning. We are very disappointed and will request a refund. Downstairs bathroom does not have hot water in the shower, so we had to shower upstairs. The downstairs toilet backed up or didnt completely flush every time there was #2 in it. The shower and toilet appear severely stained and lacking any attempt of a deep clean. The front porch furniture is ridden with holes and spider webs. The pool couch cushions are full of mold, The refrigerator ice dispenser doesnt work and flashes that filters need to be changed. kitchen garbage can is filthy underneath the garbage bag, ceiling fan blades are all caked in grime and months of dirt, there is rotting condiments in the pantry. I can go on and on, we have may pictures supporting this. Not to mention I asked for an early check in and took the host a week to get back to me, also you cant control the thermostat, they control it remotely. perhaps the most disgusting think was the prior guests dirty laundry left in the dresser. How do I get a refund?"
