"The cabin was great! There was plenty of room for our family of six. It was really easy to get to town for whatever we needed. We were able to host a small BBQ with family, and everything we needed was there. Carrie also went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of! The lake was wonderful as well: beautiful, clear, and peaceful. It was exactly what we wanted for time away as a family."

"We loved the lake sunset views! The home was spacious enough for us to spread out. We loved the shallow entry into the lake. The kayaks being available was great! The property owner was very responsive to a couple of minor questions we had. We love that the kitchen was stocked with plenty to cook! The property is about 20 minutes to the grocery and shopping. We took a day over to Silver Bay to see Iona's beach! We loved walking through Virginia and visting Canelakes Candy store! The check in and out process was very easy! Thank you for allowing our family to soend our vacation in your home! We loved it as much as we are sure you do!"

"Beautiful cabin, with everything you need and more. Great private swimming beach, great fishing. Will come and stay again. Adults, grandchildren, and dogs all had a great experience. All you need to bring is your clothes, and food. "

"Treasured family traditionThis was my 5th time staying at the Bensons' cabin. As always, it was amazing. We live only a half hour or so away, but don't have our own lake place. Our annual stay at Clearwater provides us many northern Minnesota lake memories. We especially love rowing and stand up paddle boarding, and my girls have really gotten into fishing the past couple of years (this time my older daughter added a nice bass to our sheetpan seafood "boil"). As I've stated in my previous reviews, the cabin in tidy, needs are provided for, and I love the decor. Communication has always been responsive. We'll be back next year!"

"We loved EVERYTHING about this property! It was quiet and secluded. The house was fantastic. It was clean and roomy. The kitchen/bathrooms were fully stocked with everything we needed. The game room was a HUGE hit for all the kids. The lake lot acess was also a favorite for the kids and adults! Kayaks and paddle boats were put to good use. We had a few first timers for fishing, (we used the fishing rods provided, and bought some crawlers for bait) and the lake didnt disappoint. We caught sun fish, blue gills, and couple really nice bass! What an amazing getaway from the busy city life! Our host was also GREAT at communication whether we had questions before/during our stay. She answered in a very timely manner, and was super easy to deal with. We will absolutely look at staying here in the future again! "

Broken drawer was a problem, couldn't get clothes out of drawer. Handicap shower was roomy, but alot of water ended u p outside of shower. Management was very responsive. This was our 4th stay at the property. Will definitely be back."

"This truly checked all of the boxes for me and my family! From previous cabin rentals, I have a tendency to overpack…there was absolutely nothing I needed here except for food and clothes. The place was spotless and garbage was taken care of immediately. Bonus points for meeting the wonderful neighbors, Barb and Mark! Look forward to booking again and thank you for a great week! 10/10"
