This is a house located on a field with a grand view of the mountains. The host prepared breakfast for us each morning which was an authentic Japanese breakfast. "We are a family of four and stayed here for one night. The staff spoke limited English, but they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were able to communicate without any problems. This is an older, traditional Japanese hotel. It’s not luxurious, but that’s exactly the kind of authentic experience we were looking for. Guests can enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks, including beer, in the lounge, which was a wonderful touch. My husband and I are heavily tattooed, and we were welcomed into the onsen without any issues, which was a huge bonus for us. The dinner was excellent! I highly recommend booking a meal plan, as the hotel is located in the mountains and there are no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially relaxing in the onsen. We would happily stay here again!"
