In an otherwise very nice stay my main piece of advice is this - if you plan at eating dinner in the restaurant on the top floor make sure they haven’t used half of the restaurant to cater to a special event. If they have, you’ll have to shout across the table no matter where they seat you; the staff will be overwhelmed; the restaurant manager will have “stepped out”; and when you go down to complain you’ll be met with a blank stare similar to the look on a cow’s face when it watches a train go by.

They are one of the most famous show caves of Italy. The caves, discovered in 1938 by the speleologist Franco Anelli, are situated 1 kilometer (0.62 mi) south of Castellana.The entrance is represented by an enormous vertical tunnel 60 meters (200 ft) long.
