Very good bed. The continental breakfast was extremely good. The owner was a really nice women who cared very much for the house, the garden and the clients. We felt so at home. She went out of her way to make sure we had the best stay, and we really did. We wished we were spending more time there. Pinewood Cottage is beautiful, rooms are spacious comfortable and clean. Our hostess was very helpful with getting us settled and called a taxi for us for dinner in Inverness. She had a wonderful breakfast selection. We had a lovely stay at Pinewood Cottage! Alexandra was a fabulous hostess. She offered a warm welcome and had good advice in local pubs to try. It’s an easy walk into downtown. The neighborhood feels safe and is quiet and serene. I was met by the lovely owner, who made me feel so welcome and was so friendly. She really looked after me and prepared take out coffee, fruit and croissants etc for breakfast on the first morning, as I had to set off early. The house is beautiful and my room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Aleks was extremely welcoming and it's probably the most pleasant place we stayed at during our trip around northern England and the Highlands. 11/10!
