Great place on Mille Lacs
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was cozy and had everything we needed. Great outdoors space for a fire and viewing the lake. One warning for boats: we rented a pontoon from nearby with the plan of using it off and on for a day while docking it in the back channel at the cabin like the rental says. With a regular sized pontoon motor trimmed about halfway, I was not able to access the back channel as the entrance was too shallow and I got stuck in the sand in multiple spots. The water was less than a foot according to the depth finder. The lake may be low this summer - but we didn’t see any warnings to think otherwise until I was actively trying to get back there with a boat. I’m not docking my rating for that since it’s not about the cabin but it would have saved us a lot of headache to be aware of this.
