“The home has a serious ant problem, the grass looked like it hadn’t been mowed all season and there were no clean wash cloths. Found towels stuffed in a linen closet and the three wash cloths in the closet were stained. Outside of home dilapidated and surrounding buildings and property. Terrible traffic noise. Would not recommend.”

“Check in was easy. We were greeted with some snacks and a welcome letter. The home was very spacious and overlooked the canal. It was very quiet and relaxing. A quick drive to Walter J. Hayes Park/beach where 11 gets you a day pass if you live outside of Michigan. Pet friendly, but no fenced in space if you need that, so dogs need to be on leash. No paddle boards or kayaks on the property, but plenty of places close by to do so. Very nice little getaway before school starts up again. Host was……

“Everything needed was there, just had to look for it. The best part was the totally fenced in yard for the dog. It could be a good or even excellent place with just a few additions —towel bars, toilet paper holder, hooks for coats and dog leashes The weirdest thing was at night the phone lost its signal and switched to SOS mode”
