The entire apartment was clean and spacious with safety locks to make your stay is worry free. There were plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. "We had an excellent stay. The facility was beautiful and the staff was very attentive. There is a type of sea weed that is creating a terrible smell on the coast, and that is definitely present, but it isn’t something that the facility itself has any control over. But just so visitors are aware there is a definite smell all over the island. But the Grand Caribe resort itself was beautiful and the facilities were very clean and comfortable. It was a girls trip with 3 of us and we each had our own suite with a bathroom which was amazing. Highly recommend. Safe and lots of security, not that I ever felt like we needed it, really. Great options for excursions through the concierge as well. "
"The location of the property is wonderful. Very close to dining, shopping, and snorkeling. Ramon's Village Resort is next door, and there is a great pier to snorkel from. Many restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance, and for people looking to go on day trips either from the island, or from the mainland there are many tour operators within walking distance, as well as the Belize Express Water Taxi just a short walk south on the beach. There is security there 24 hours a day, and the section of beach that The Palms is located on feels very safe. It was great having three sleeping areas, a full kitchen, and unit 24 has two patios, one looking out over the beach, and one in front looking over the pool. The pool is cleaned several times a day, and the grounds are raked multiple times daily."

With that said you would be doing a dis service not to explore the island- people are friendly, tons of places for food- secret beach is a must- say hi to “Speedy” and Alex at the bar. Grab some jet skis and there is a water park as well"

"Booked on a layover for my flight. Hotel waa close to airport and offered airport shuttle. Please be advised the shuttle only collects from terminal A & C. I arrived at terminal E, so had to get the train to C. Shuttle is every 30 mins. Room was comfortable and as advertised. Breakfast was included. They had a selection of hot and cold items.
