"This place was a perfect little getaway cabin for wintertime! The bed was very comfortable, the shower was actually very nice and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed for good breakfasts. The VHS player with all the movies was a huge hit with my husband, felt so nostalgic! Being able to bring our dogs along with us was also nice, we appreciated the fenced yard! It is a very rustic, comfortable, older cabin - if you want the cozy feels in the wintertime like we were going for, this is the place! "

"Location to the state park land is so close and a short walk to the lake. We saw eagles and deer, the creek outback is beautiful and relaxing. "

"We did need to turn up the hot tub a bit, but it was then great. Kitchen was basically well equipped but coukd use a scraping/mixing spatula. Also a tea pot and strainer?"

"The cabin was nicely appointed, and the amenities for our dog were a plus. She was fine sleeping apart from us downstairs. Nice kitchen and bathroom amenities, and the fireplace was cozy — and ready to light!"

"We stayed at this property for a special family event. We also booked one of the adjacent tents, and the second tent was not rented during our stay. This was the perfect spot for our event, with gorgeous views! The hosts were very accommodating and quickly responded to any questions or concerns we had. We enjoyed watching the ponies and farm animals, and the yard was the perfect spot for lawn games and hosting an outdoor dinner. As others have mentioned, the hosts live onsite. However, this was not an issue, and they went unnoticed. "
