This house OFFERS A QUITE, PEACEFUL ATMOSPHERE within feet from the waters edge. Mill Lake is a private, 88 acre all sports lake offering great fishing, boating and swimming. During the SUMMER, enjoy a leisurely ride around the lake in the provided paddle boats, kayaks or row boat or bring your own boat and take advantage of the boat ramp on the adjacent property. During the WINTER months, enjoy ice fishing and other winter sports, then warm up inside by the electric fireplace. Spend the day on the water or take a 15 minute drive into Battle Creek or Hastings for endless activities such as golfing, shopping, gambling and museums. Comes fully furnished including linens, towels, cookware and WiFi

A Relaxing Weekend Away

We were in town for a wedding and had a wonderful, relaxing stay here. The cottage was excellent and very tastefully renovated. Theresa was extremely on top of communication and was great! Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect weekend getaway!!

My husband and I had a relaxing time at the lake cottage. It was so clean and cozy. Far away from the busyness but close to good restaurants and basic amenities. The hosts were very hospitable and we had everything we needed:) The lake and view is gorgeous!!! Thank you!!

Great place on a quiet lake.

My family and I stayed here in early June and we had an amazing stay. We used the kayaks and the paddleboats to spot many turtles in the lake. It is also very close to Fort Custer and its many mountain bike trails, we enjoyed coming back to the cottage to relax after a long day of riding. The cottage is well appointed, very clean, and comfortable.

The property was clean and had many hooks, which is very useful when staying on water. The lake was a bit more mucky than I would have liked, but overally, it was a great stay!

Peaceful lake house

Was worried that 600 square feet, was gonna be cramped, but they did awesome job of utilizing space, place was clean, lake was wonderful, fishing was very good, Theresa was great and my great granddaughter fell in love with her. Will be booking again next year

Perfect Quiet Getaway

This was our second time at this property and somehow the second time was even better than the first! The property is beautiful and the house is very well kept. The kayaks, tubes, paddle boat, sand, and lots more were perfect. We brought our dog with and he never left the lake. Highly recommended!

A perfect place to stay!

From the moment we arrived, we knew it was a great find! The house is pristine and well stocked with everything one could need! The mattress was comfy. And the openness of the home allowed for a lot of light and wonderful views of the lake. The kayaks, paddle boats and floats were perfect for getting out on the lake. I can’t say enough about our stay. Kudos to Theresa and Richard!

Perfect Getaway

My sister and I rented this cute little cottage for a weekend away to hang out, relax and scrapbook. The cottage is very clean and nicely decorated. Since it was Fall, we didn't get to experience the lake but saw that they had plenty of fun things to do with kayaks and an outdoor firepit. The inside was stocked with games, books and movies. The owners do a great job of communicating and respond quickly to any questions. They also had a 3 ring binder filled with helpful information that included things to do in the area and local restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful weekend getaway!

just really nice

This is a small and beautifully renovated small home (with a single small bedroom with a full size bed, reasonable size common area and bathroom) with a small backyard on a pretty lake. For my wife and I and our small dog, Rocky, it was very comfortable. We enjoyed using the owner-supplied paddleboats & kayaks as well as just the peaceful views and weekday quiet. The cottage was immaculately clean, light and airy. There were even some snacks left for us by the owners. It is worth mentioning that the kitchen is indeed fully equipped. It had literally everything that I could need, from pots & pans to a pizza cutter to ground coffee and two different types of coffee makers. I even found a pair of scissors when I needed them. Downsides: none that I can think of.

I'm being hareased!

Where can I start? First, we arrived on a Saturday at 4pm just like it was aksed of us. When we arrived we found out that the Hostess and her husband was satying in the main house next door. As we as stepped out of the car we were harassed by both of them. For the next 4 days we were without any privacy. On top of all on the second they hired a company to cut the grass. The hostess had an habbit coming to our side of the yard to carry conversations with her neighbors (loudly) as if we were not even there. One day a pedal boat was under water and the hostess decided yell and scream at husband while we were taking a nap. Now I'm still being harassed because she is accusing me of stealing a dirty old towel (I was kind enough to let her know I had left a towel on her washer, so she wouldn't have a terrible surprise of find a towel sticking in her in her washer). This woman text to meet her half somewhere to exchange towels!?!?!? I just ignore her text because it didn't make any since. And now she is charging me for a towel she apparently lost, because we never took it. This woman is psycho! STAY AWAY!

Great Stay

Had a great time relaxing at the cottage. Loved that we had so many amenities like kayaks, pedal boats, firepit, wood rack and fishing poles. Can't say a bad thing about our time there. Very quiet and very well taken care of.
