“Property fit our needs. The only draw back was any restaurants and groceries were about 30 minutes away. Which were on the way. So pick up when in route.”

They checked in with us to be sure we had everything we needed, and were generous with some longer conversations about their life on the island. They also invited us to a gallery opening for a juried show, where Brian had a painting exhibited, and he shared unexpected, interesting insights about his process. The amenities are also first-rate. “The host greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our space. That evening there was a cockroach in the kitchen area that went under the cabinets. The next evening the cockroach was going along the wall near the ceiling around the room. I made the host aware and never received a response. When walking outside and to the vehicle, be aware of spider webs between the trees. There are quite a few eye level that we had to duck and dodge to not hit. ”
