“This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the hillside far away from the hustle of a town however close enough to go to the beaches and local tavernas. They staff are excellent always welcoming, the rooms were clean and we booked a suite with a private pool this was amazing. We loved the privacy and the fantastic view over the hills. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back again.”

“This is a special, peaceful and relaxing place. Vasily is an attentive host and gave us plenty of great recommendations for places to visit locally. He was proud to share his Cretan history and eco-farming techniques with us. We thoroughly recommend his farm tour. We ate our breakfast and evening meals at Dalabelos, enjoying the home grown and locally sourced food, beautifully prepared by Maria. Overall, this is a lovely spot for people looking for a peaceful and restorative place to stay……

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Casa Dei Delfini. The building has been beautifully renovated by the owners and was very easy to find from the instructions given. It is located in a pedestrian area which is very quiet and very typical of Old Town Rethymno, and a few minutes walk away from all local amenities and sites. “Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch sehr sauber. Die "Herbergswirte" Manos und Nikos (Junior und Senior) sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer ist mit einer kleinen Küchenzeile inkl. Besteck, Geschirr, Kochutensilien und Kühlschrank ausgestattet. Außerdem hat es einen Balkon mit Tisch, Stühlen und Wäscheleinen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt und Souveniers), Tavernen und Bushaltestellen sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Der fußläufige Strand ist auch sehr zu empfehlen……

“Room was great, comfy bed! Loved the veranda & tub with great views. Everything you needed was there. Breakfast was delicious at Living Room - huge portions! Contact with them was excellent & Kalliopi was fantastic, so attentive to our needs she is a credit to you! Arranged return taxi & some bits for us on arrival. Lovely complimentary bottle of wine. Can’t wait to return, was one of the best stays we’ve had in 25+ years of travel.”

“Das gebuchte Zimmer verfügte über keinen Balkon, jedoch war ein dekorativer "Fake-Balkon" vorhanden. Leider war es uns aufgrund der Höhe von ca. 3 Metern nicht möglich, das Fenster zu öffnen oder zu schließen, weshalb es permanent geöffnet blieb. Die Zimmerreinigung erfolgte alle zwei Tage und war stets tadellos. Lediglich der Duschvorhang wies eine leichte Undichtigkeit auf, was dazu führte, dass der Boden und die Vorleger nach dem Duschen nass wurden. Die zentrale Lage der Unterkunft ist……
