"Staff very nice. Easy check in. Cabin was clean and very cozy. Many extra items available in kitchenette such as cups, plates, cookware, toaster, coffee maker, microwave. Didn’t use it but the dishwasher was a nice plus and detergent is provided. Very happy with our stay!"

"I gave five stars for a couple of things that could have been 4. The toilet/showering facilities were shut down one night. I am giving the benefit of the doubt it was a really unusual situation. I am glad I took my shower prior to the close down. I DO wish the check in person would have told us there was coffee available in the Anvil’s lobby. That did lead to commitment ran into looking for a cup of Java at 4:30 in the morning. On the really plu side I was I impressed with the overall cleanliness and functionality of every thing. I am 77 years old and never was in a hostel. I was impressed. Especially apparently being a fairly old physical structure things were very nice. Not fancy but very doable and satisfying."

"We stayed one night in the tipi. They provide sheets, but no pillow or blanket. This was expected, so we had prepared. The bathrooms are in desperate need of cleaning and upgrades. But the staff was friendly and I got to pet horses. Overall it was a good stay. It is also a great location with a lovely view."
