“This is such an exceptional place to stay in. The view out the window of the Rhein is just unbelievable. And you are in a very quiet neighborhood. And you get to pull right up in front of your front door to park.Everything you need is right there and functions perfectly - the refrigerator, the dishwasher, the washing machine, even the water pressure in the shower is terrific!Koblenz, Boppard, St Goar, Bacharach, Rudesheim - these are all close by and easily reachable in under an hour. “This place was so cute! The village was very charming. We love the restaurant next door. The owner was kind and the food (especially the Donar Kabob) was fantastic!”

“Sauber und freundlich. Check-In unkompliziert. Toll die Fußbodenheizung im modernen Bad, weniger toll der Elektroheizlüfter, so dass ich es trotzdem ungemütlich empfunden hatte.Leider häufiger Internetprobleme, so dass weder WLAN (ich hatte kein Internet via Handy) noch Fernsehempfang (fire TV). Die private Autowerkstatt auf dem Hof und von mir als spärlich empfundene Kommunikation luden nicht zum draußen sitzen ein, weder Bank im Hof oder der Garten der Eigentümer. Fragen konnten nicht immer……

“De eigenaar was vergeten ons de code van het sleutelkastje te sturen, en was niet op het opgegeven nummer bereikbaar. Dankzij een andere bewoner in het huis kregen we contact en de code. Het appartement bevindt zich in een smalle steeg; moeilijk te vinden. Uiteindelijk hebben we de auto langs het water geparkeerd. Het is verder een mooi appartement. Alle benodigdheden zijn aanwezig. Helaas waren 3 stoelen niet goed meer en brak een lat in een van de bedden. Restaurant en bakkerij dichtbij. Het……

“The apartment was functional, though rather worn out. Communication with the owner included long messages with instructions beforehand - rather than being shown how to settle in, we received written instructions on how to turn on the fridge and how to clean up afterwards. This was neither very clear nor welcoming. Other than that, our stay went well.”

“the Lucas family were very very good hosts, the apartment was also excellent. our only concern when we arrived was that the property was in close proximity to the road, but after about 8pm, the traffic quietened down. Kamp Bornhofen is a pretty village on the banks of the river Rhein, and is very central to exploring both the Rhein and Moselle valleys, with Cochem, Koblenz, and Rudesheim, all within easy reach.”

“Als ich mein Zimmer betrat, fühlte es sich genau richtig an, sauber und geräumig, ohne ein Vermögen zu kosten. Für preisbewusste Reisende wie mich ist diese Unterkunft ideal. Die Dusche hatte einen ausgezeichneten Wasserdruck, was die Morgenstunden erfrischend machte. Außerdem war das Personal freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein.”
